SoBe Burger's First West Midlands Restaurant Signals Major Franchise Growth Opportunity

SoBe Burger has reached another major milestone in its nationwide expansion with the opening of its first physical restaurant in the West Midlands, highlighting the brand's continued growth and the opportunity available to prospective franchise partners.

The new restaurant in Leamington Spa is the latest step in SoBe Burger's ambitious rollout strategy, demonstrating how the delivery-first brand is evolving into a nationwide restaurant franchise.

Already operating across 229 active locations throughout the UK, SoBe Burger has become the country's fourth-largest burger franchise and was recently recognised as a National Burger Awards 2026 finalist. The business has served more than 9.4 million burgers nationwide, with order volumes continuing to grow by 19% month-on-month.

The Leamington Spa site, which seats 24 guests and also serves customers via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat, represents more than just a new opening, it's another example of the brand identifying high-performing territories and converting proven customer demand into successful physical restaurants.

Founded in London in 2019 by Tom and Alex after being inspired by Miami's iconic smash burger scene, SoBe Burger took an unconventional route to expansion. Rather than opening restaurants first, the brand built a nationwide delivery network, creating brand awareness, customer loyalty and proven demand before launching dine-in locations.

That strategy has been powered by growth platform Sessions, whose proprietary AI technology, Agatha, analyses customer demand to identify the strongest locations for expansion. The same data-led approach has helped scale brands including Mikos Gyros and Little Bao Boy into successful national franchises.

The decision to open in Leamington Spa followed strong delivery performance in the area, giving franchise partners greater confidence that new locations are backed by real customer demand rather than speculation.

Tom and Alex, founders of SoBe Burger, said:

"Launching in the West Midlands is a huge moment for SoBe Burger and a testament to how far the brand has come since we first started in London.

"We took a slightly unconventional path to growth by building our delivery network before expanding our dine-in restaurants, but we couldn't be more grateful with how the brand has been embraced by both our growth platform partner Sessions and burger lovers across the UK.

"We're incredibly excited for this next chapter as we bring SoBe Burger franchise sites to the West Midlands and beyond."

As SoBe Burger continues to expand across the UK, the brand is actively seeking ambitious franchise partners looking to join a business with a proven operating model, established customer demand and a technology-led approach to identifying high-potential locations.

With its first West Midlands restaurant now open and further expansion planned in Worcester (3rd September), Kingston (w/c 7th Sept), Portsmouth (w/c 14th Sept), Brighton (w/c 21st Sept), Loughton (w/c 28th Sept),  Corby & Southampton (w/c 5th Oct) and Bristol (w/c 12th Oct), SoBe Burger's next chapter offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to be part of one of the UK's fastest-growing burger brands.
