Chicken Cottage Signs Master Franchise Agreement for Somalia with Real Gold Group
Chicken Cottage, the established British halal quick-service restaurant brand, is pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive Master Franchise Agreement with Real Gold Group, granting the company the rights to develop and operate the Chicken Cottage brand across Somalia.
The agreement marks an important milestone in Chicken Cottage’s international growth strategy and represents the brand’s first entry into the Somali market.
With more than 30 years of heritage, Chicken Cottage has built a strong reputation for its halal fried and grilled chicken offering. The partnership brings together Chicken Cottage’s established brand, operating model and QSR expertise with Real Gold Group’s local market knowledge, investment ambitions and commitment to long-term growth in Somalia.
Under the Master Franchise Agreement, Real Gold Group plans to develop multiple Chicken Cottage restaurants across Somalia, with preparations for the brand’s market launch already underway.
The expansion is expected to create new employment opportunities, support local economic activity and, over time, open opportunities for further franchise development across the country.
