Coffee lovers and shoppers in Doncaster have a new place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and a treat, as Jamaica Blue opens its doors today at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping Centre.

The new café is creating 15 local jobs and represents a £300,000 investment in the area. It will offer customers a relaxed, modern space to sit down, catch up with friends or refuel during a day of shopping.  On the menu, visitors will find speciality coffee, made-to-order brunch dishes, freshly prepared sandwiches, lunch favourites and sweet treats.

Jamaica Blue was founded in Australia more than 30 years ago and takes its name from the Jamaica Blue Mountains, one of the world’s best-known coffee-growing regions.

Michael Johnson, Head of Franchise Development at Foodco UK, said:

“We’re delighted to open in Doncaster today and look forward to welcoming local shoppers, families and visitors to Jamaica Blue. Lakeside Village is a fantastic location, and we’re proud to be investing in the area and creating new jobs for local people.”

Welcoming the opening of Jamaica Blue at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping Centre, Lyndsey Parry, Centre Manager, said:

“We are so excited to welcome Jamaica Blue to Doncaster and to Lakeside Village. We know how much our customers love to visit for a drink and a bite to eat, and we’ve seen the menus, so we know this new coffee shop and café will be a big hit.

“From delicious breakfasts to lunchtime treats, Jamaica Blue will be a great addition to our food and beverage offer at the centre, and what’s even better is that it’s dog friendly!”
