Bunsik to open in Birmingham and Coventry

Bunsik, the No. 1 Korean street food brand, is continuing its rapid UK expansion with the opening of two new locations this autumn, bringing its much-loved Korean street food experience to Coventry in September and Birmingham’s iconic Bullring in October.

The two new openings mark the next stage of Bunsik’s growing partnership with ZK Group, following the successful launch of Bunsik Plymouth last month. Coventry and Birmingham will represent the third collaboration between Bunsik and ZK Group, with further locations already in the pipeline as both businesses look to build on their shared success.

The expansion reflects Bunsik’s ambition to establish itself as the leading Korean street food brand across the UK, taking its signature Korean dishes and vibrant, accessible dining experience to more communities beyond London.

Bringing Bunsik to Coventry and Birmingham

The opening in Coventry will introduce Bunsik to a city with a young, diverse and increasingly food-focused population, while Birmingham represents a major milestone for the brand. As one of the UK’s largest and most culturally diverse cities, Birmingham has a thriving food scene and a strong appetite for international flavours and experiences.

The new Bunsik restaurant at the Bullring, one of the UK's most recognisable retail and leisure destinations, will place the brand at the heart of Birmingham and represents an exciting opportunity to introduce Bunsik to an even wider audience.

Both openings come amid strong anticipation from local communities, with growing excitement around the arrival of Bunsik and the opportunity to experience the brand’s Korean street food offering closer to home.

Bunsik’s continued expansion also reflects the growing popularity of Korean food and culture across the UK, with Korean street food moving firmly into the mainstream.
