Jamaica Blue has confirmed that its new Ashford café will officially open on Thursday 17th September, bringing the brand’s premium coffee, relaxed café atmosphere and vibrant all-day dining offer to the town.

The new café, located at The County Square Shopping Centre, represents a £300,000 investment in Ashford and will create 15 new jobs for the local area, with recruitment currently underway via Indeed.

Founded more than 30 years ago in Australia, Jamaica Blue takes its name from the world-renowned Jamaica Blue Mountains, home to some of the finest coffee beans in the world. These premium beans sit at the heart of the brand’s speciality coffee offering, complemented by a fresh, made-to-order menu featuring indulgent brunch dishes, gourmet sandwiches, lunch plates and handcrafted cakes and sweet treats.

The Ashford launch marks the latest step in Jamaica Blue’s continued UK expansion, reflecting the brand’s commitment to investing in strong retail and town centre locations while bringing its distinctive café experience to more communities.

Michael Johnson, Head of Franchise Development at Foodco UK, said:

“We’re delighted to confirm that Jamaica Blue will open in Ashford next month. This is an exciting new location for the brand, and we look forward to welcoming customers through the doors to enjoy our speciality coffee, fresh brunch, lunch and sweet dishes, and relaxed café atmosphere, while also creating valuable new employment opportunities in the area.”
