Fight Path Ltd, founded by David Herman and Andre Hordagoda, two established UK franchise owners of the global Australian boutique gym brand UBX Boxing and Strength (pronounced “You-Box”), today announced the acquisition of the Master License for the brand across the UK and Ireland, heralding a new era of growth for one of the world’s most dynamic fitness concepts.

The network currently boasts nine established gyms across the UK and Ireland, located in 4 London locations, Sheffield, Bath, Alderley, and Stepaside in Dublin, with a tenth gym set to open in Hammersmith in February 2026. The innovative mix of boxing and strength training in an ultra-flexible format, which eliminates class timetables and bookings, has proven to be a hit with the fast-growing community.

After successfully launching and running the first UBX London club in Wembley Park, Fight Path has appointed Izzy Huber into the National Business Development role to oversee the expansion and success of the network. Izzy is currently training as an amateur boxer with large aspirations for the next five years’ ahead.

UBX is recognized as the world’s fastest-growing boxing and strength brand, offering a distinctive workout that allows everyone to train like a professional fighter in a community- driven environment. Each session combines boxing skills and drills with high-intensity cardio, explosive movements, and functional strength training, structured within a coach led 12-round circuit that keeps members engaged, challenged, and motivated. Setting itself apart from traditional gyms, UBX is community driven to provide a fun and inclusive place that people can come to train and belong.

The continued growth and success of UBX reflect its adaptability and broad appeal across diverse markets. As more individuals embrace healthier lifestyles, UBX has played a leading role in inspiring people to prioritize fitness, mental health, and overall well-being through the benefits of boxing and strength training.

The UK fitness market, with its increasing focus on health and well-being, presents tremendous potential for UBX’s unique training model. The UK fitness sector is booming, driven by growing consumer demand and evolving trends. In 2024, the industry reached a record £5.7 billion in revenue—an increase of 8.8% year-on- year—with 11.5 million members and over 600 million gym visits.*

David Herman, Co-Founder, stated, “It’s an incredibly exciting time for UBX as we continue to redefine the fitness landscape. Our expansion reflects not only UBX’s global momentum, which spans four continents, but also our firm commitment to building healthier, stronger communities and creating new opportunities for both members and franchisees. This

milestone is just the beginning; there’s a lot more exciting things to come for UBX as we unleash a new movement into the boxing and fitness industry.

Co-Founder Andre Hordagoda added, “Using our unique blend of technology, sports science, and exceptional coaches, we empower our members to progress to their best, regardless of their fitness level, in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Simply turn up at one of our gyms, and we’ll handle the rest.”
