Bunsik set to open 9th UK store

Bunsik, the fast-growing Korean street food brand, is opening its 9th store in Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday 29th of November.  Situated on the bustling Uxbridge Road area, Shepherd’s Bush is the brand’s 7th London store.

To celebrate the opening, Bunsik will be giving away a Free Corndog to the first 100 people in the queue on the 29th & 30th of November.

Bunsik offers mostly grab-and-go Korean street food options like Corn dogs, Tteokbokki, and kimbap. It also offers Cup bap, a dish served with rice. The brand also sells Korean-style fried chicken, wraps, and nuggets together.

A refreshed cup bap menu will be introduced exclusively at the Shepherd’s Bush location. The newly upgraded Cup bap elevates this experience by introducing a new Bunsik Cup bap base sauce, enhanced with the addition of edamame and carrots. This careful addition provides both a deeper, harmonised flavour profile and a variety of textures, making it a more complete and satisfying standalone dish.

Established in 2021, Bunsik is part of Maguro Group that has 20+ years’ experience in UK F&B industry, and a £2m turnover. The Shepherd’s Bush store follows openings in Leicester Square, Embankment, Camden, Manchester, Westfield Stratford, Earl’s Court, Chinatown and Bristol.

Bunsik is looking for experienced QSR operators with an interest in and capability for multi-unit ownership.

Soft Opening and Grand Launch Details

The Shepherd’s Bush location will hold a soft launch period followed by a grand opening, offering limited-time promotions:

• Soft Opening - 26th November, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and 27th & 28th November, 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
• Grand Opening - 29th November. Store opening times going forward - Mon - Thurs (11:00 am - 11:00 pm), Fri - Sat (11:00 am - 12:00 am) and Sunday (11:00 am - 10:00 pm)

Opening Celebration Promotions

To celebrate the launch, Bunsik Shepherd’s Bush is running a series of daily promotions and an exclusive collaboration:

• 29th – 30th November: A free corn dog for the first 100 customers. Following the first 100, all corn dogs will be 50% off all day.
• 1st – 2nd December: All-day 50% off all Tteokbokki.
• 3rd – 4th December: All-day 50% off all Chicken.
• 5th December: All-day 50% off all Cup Bap.

Exclusive Collaboration: Bunsik is collaborating with Kelly Loves: customers who spend over £10 will receive a free pineapple aloe vera drink, while stocks last.
