TaxAssist Accountants moves up four places in Elite Franchise Top 100 industry rankings.

TaxAssist Accountants is celebrating after being named as one of the UK’s ‘Rising Star’ franchise opportunities. From hundreds of entries across every sector, TaxAssist Accountants has been ranked 10th overall in the prestigious Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) – a title it will hold for the duration of 2023.

“We feel that TaxAssist Accountants fully deserve their place in the top 15 of the Elite Franchise Top 100 list,” said Scott English, Brand Director of Elite Franchise. “This definitive Top 100 ranking exemplifies the very best of franchisors in the UK. Each year, the ranking becomes more competitive, and this year has been no exception for our panel of industry-leading judges.”

Anita Roberts, Franchise Director at HSBC UK, added: “During judging, we take into account entrants’ sales and growth figures as well as the training and support systems in place for their network of franchisees. This year, brands were also judged on any measures they initiated to survive the damaging aftereffects of the pandemic, along with how they would continue to grow their brand during the current financial crisis. Achieving this top 15 position is a testament to all that TaxAssist Accountants has achieved – they have consistently demonstrated a gold-standard level of franchising in the face of anything that came their way.”

Sarah Robertson, Group Director and UK Managing Director of The TaxAssist Group, said: “We’re thrilled to have been recognised as one of the top 10 franchises in the UK, with the performance of our network, our business model and all-round support we provide to our franchisees ranked so positively. This is a fantastic endorsement of our brand and all that we offer to our franchisees.”

The EF100, established in 2017 in association with HSBC, is the franchising list to watch. It recognises the sector’s brightest businesses and ranks them according to a broad range of criteria: from their financial performance and heritage, to their contribution to the community and the way they embrace innovation.

The franchise industry contributes over £17billion to the UK economy and more than 700,000 people are employed in franchising across the country.
