Business Doctors set to launch in West Norfolk
Business Doctors is delighted to welcome Russell Atkinson to their growing team. Russell will be supporting SME’s in the Peterborough and West Norfolk region, an area familiar to him having lived there for over 24 years.
Russell joins us with a broad range of experiences behind him, gathered from an impressive 30 year career.
After working in various sales and marketing roles, Russell’s career became more focused around general management and running businesses. Most recently, he was CEO at the NAHL Group plc, which provides services to the legal industry.
After a long time working in the corporate world, Russell knew that the next stage of his career was going to be about supporting SME’s.
“I've accumulated 30 years of experience, gleaned from successes as well as failures, and I'd like share some of this wisdom, with small business owners in the Peterborough and West Norfolk region.
“Business Doctors is a dedicated company that ensures SME’s at the heart of everything they do.
“I’m buying into an established brand which will give my new business a head start and immediate access to the collateral, the training and the shared knowledge from like minded individuals.”
Russell recently finished his training, which has already helped him in founding a clear plan of action
“It's really helped me to understand how I’ll go about establishing myself and the brand in the area. I'll start by building a face to face network of people, contacts and key influencers across the region, supported by a social media network across the key channels. I’ll then leverage this to deliver our products and services to build a successful franchise that supports the growth of local businesses and contributes to the economy of the East of England region.”
Matt Levington, co-founder of Business Doctors, said: “Russell joins our team equipped with all the attributes needed to make him a successful business mentor. Not only is Russell a vastly experienced professional, but he’ll be bringing an element of enthusiasm and personality to SME’s in need of his support.
In his free time, Russell is a keen cyclist, enjoying cycling and walking his dog around the Cambridgeshire countryside and along the North Norfolk coast. Over the years, he’s also been involved in football coaching and is a Director of the Soke Academy Trust.
After the addition of Russell to our team, Business Doctors now has a respected total of 36 consultants across the UK - all of who are constantly striving to ensure that the SME’s in their region achieve their vision.
