Rainbow International support franchisors at awards ceremony

Rainbow International were recently shortlisted for the bfa’s Franchisor of the Year Awards and were in attendance at the awards ceremony to support the winners. Although they were narrowly pipped to the post, the Rainbow International Head Office team were still extremely proud to have been shortlisted among so many large brands.

Franchisors in the category were judged on the support they offer to franchisees, their business growth, engagement with franchisees and a dedication to ethical franchising. To be shortlisted was a huge honour for Rainbow International and not winning won’t put them off going for Gold next year! They were still happy to celebrate with the other nominees and winner at the Black Tie event hosted by the bfa after their annual conference.

“We might not have won the top prize this year but to be shortlisted alongside some of the best in the industry shows how strong our business and our entry for the awards was. We work hard to support our network on a daily basis so it was great to have our work recognised by such an influential industry body.

We know that training and support is key to a strong franchise network which is why we put so much time and effort into our franchise network. To explain everything we do on a daily basis in one award entry was a challenge but the judges could clearly see the effort we put in to maintaining a strong and successful franchise network,” explains Simon Ford, Operations Director at Rainbow International.

Rainbow International is the UK’s leading franchise supplier of disaster recovery and specialist cleaning services and part of global franchising giant, The Dwyer Group. They provide fire, flood, escape of water and accidental damage restoration services to many of the UK’s leading insurance companies on behalf of their many policyholders. In addition, they provide a comprehensive range of specialist cleaning services to commercial, industrial and domestic premises, promoted by the franchisees in their designated territories.

Rainbow International have a strong support system to ensure that their franchisees are successful from day one. This includes hands-on training before they even launch their businesses and a 100-day support plan which is regularly reviewed and updated to keep franchisees on track and give both them and head office an overview of their achievements and targets.
