RUSH London win Best Salon Interior and Franchisor of the Year

RUSH London continue their award winning run as they collected another two prestigious awards at Salon Business’s The Sapphires. RUSH London were awarded with Best Salon Interior and the ultimate award of the event, Franchisor of the Year. The second annual Sapphires held in The Dorchester, London, is a hairdressing industry event that recognises and rewards success and business intelligence within the franchise sector.
 
RUSH London was founded in 1994, Directors Stelios Andrew and Andrew Phouli opened their first salon with the goal of building a brand that would share their passion for the hairdressing industry and provide each and every client with the ultimate hairdressing experience. This passion has remained 16 years on as RUSH London now have an impressive 53 salons across London and the south. In 2009 they opened 16 salons and are set to open 10 in London throughout 2010
 
Passion, Quality, Creativity and Professionalism sum up RUSH London perfectly. RUSH London is exciting, dynamic, forward thinking and really going places. Andrew Phouli is the Chairman of RUSH London and the 2008 British Hairdressing Business Awards Business Director of the Year. The driving force behind the brand, Andy is the man to take RUSH forward, his amazing business acumen backed by his passion for hairdressing have shown the industry just what RUSH is capable of. Stelios Andrew leads the RUSH Artistic Team. In his role as Int. Creative Director, Stell is instrumental in creating the RUSH look, pushing hairdressing boundaries and developing the team’s creative potential.
 
RUSH London are looking to the future and it’s looking great. Behind the scenes they have a great team working on their expansion plans. John Murphy, Director of Franchising has a wealth of expertise in franchising and along with Andy and Stell has created the blueprint for RUSH London’s exciting expansion programme. RUSH London stylists have opportunities they have only dreamed of – joining the training team, travelling the world as a member of the artistic team, taking part in shows and seminars, producing inspirational and award winning photographic collections, developing management skills or having their own RUSH London franchise

Andrew Phouli, Chairman of RUSH London has a passion for developing a group of salons providing the highest standards of hairdressing and service and this was the basis for the group winning the final accolade of the night;
“RUSH has experienced an incredible year of growth which witnessed us opening 16 in 2009 alone. Recession or not, we are achieving our expansion plans. As far as I am aware, hair does not stop growing during a recession, and you can’t get it cut online. RUSH is recession proof. I am proud to collect this award on behalf of the entire team at RUSH who helped make this happen.”
