Smell Fabulous Now Launches UK Franchise Expansion Following Growth of Luxury Fragrance Vending Concept

Smell Fabulous Now, the luxury fragrance vending business bringing premium scents into hotels, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, spas and other hospitality venues, has announced the launch of its UK franchise programme.

Established in 2025, Smell Fabulous Now has developed a modern take on fragrance retail through sleek, wall-mounted vending machines that allow customers to purchase a spray of premium fragrance instantly using contactless payment.

Following the development of its initial network, the company is now looking to accelerate its UK expansion by partnering with franchisees who will develop exclusive territories and build portfolios of machines across hospitality and leisure venues.

The concept is designed to create an additional experience for guests while giving venues a new revenue stream without the need to operate or manage the machines themselves.

For franchisees, the model has been developed around building recurring revenue from a growing portfolio of locations rather than operating a traditional bricks-and-mortar retail business.

Franchisees will focus primarily on identifying and developing relationships with suitable venues within their territory, while Smell Fabulous Now provides the machines, technology, brand infrastructure, training and ongoing support.

The franchise opportunity requires a minimum personal contribution of £10,000, with an average start-up cost of approximately £35,000. Franchisees receive an exclusive geographic territory alongside training covering sales, venue qualification, brand standards and business development.

Each Smell Fabulous Now machine combines a touchscreen interface with contactless payment and a curated selection of fragrances. Customers select their preferred scent, tap to pay and receive a spray directly from the machine.

The machines can also incorporate digital advertising screens, allowing participating venues to promote events, offers and other content to customers.

Unlike a conventional retail franchise, franchisees do not need to operate shops or employ large teams. Their role is centred on developing their territory and securing suitable venue partnerships, with revenue increasing as their portfolio of installed machines grows.

No previous fragrance, retail or technology experience is required, with training and ongoing support provided by the company.

Smell Fabulous Now is initially seeking single-unit franchise operators as it expands across the UK, with territories allocated geographically.
