Experienced multi-unit franchisee opens Bunsik's first franchise
Bunsik, the fast-growing Korean street food brand, has opened its first franchise. Located in Cabot Circus, Bristol, the franchise is run by experienced, ex-Subway multi-unit franchisee, Will Bray.
Bunsik Bristol is the 8th Bunsik in the UK, following openings in Leicester Square, Embankment, Camden, Manchester, Westfield Stratford, Earl’s Court and Chinatown. Our 9th store will be opening in Shepherd’s Bush this month.
Established in 2012, Bunsik is part of Maguro Group that has 20+ years’ experience in UK F&B industry, and a £28m turnover.
“I’m thrilled to be the first Bunsik franchisee. From our very first meeting, I knew this was a brand I wanted to be part of as it had everything I was looking for in a franchise,” commented Will.
“What stood out most was the sense of being part of a family and a shared purpose and passion for growing the brand. I am excited about being on this journey with the team at Bunsik.”
The budget-friendly QSR brand was founded by Jae Cho who was keen to replicate the street food he enjoyed eating when growing up in Korea.

“What sets Bunsik apart is its ability to attract a diverse customer base - from students and young professionals to families seeking quick, tasty meals.”
Bunsik is looking for experienced QSR operators with an interest in and capability for multi-unit ownership.
