Iron Mountain In Safe Hands with Signs

na Signs and a graphics specialist, Signs Express (Glasgow) have been instrumental in a vehicle rebrand for Iron Mountain, the global leader in information protection and storage services.

Signs Express has been working with Iron Mountain Europe for the past 9 years providing livery for a variety of different types of vehicles and external/internal signage throughout the UK. A new vehicle re-identification programme has been launched for 2006 on Iron Mountain's records management trucks and vans which has been introduced to illustrate a series of strong new corporate messages to improve brand awareness.

Signs Express centre owner Carol Fraser said, "Iron Mountain have been a long standing prestigious customer of ours and we have been delighted to work with them on this project. The vehicle graphics look fantastic - with an image of a Vault on one side and a circular saw featured on the other, promoting secure shredding to cut identity theft. The business continues to go from strength to strength after a fantastic year so far; with a highly commended award at the National Sign Industry Awards and a move to new larger premises".

The full colour vault image is 2m high x 2.2m wide and the saw 2m high x 3.2 m wide. To enhance the images, they were digitally printed in 3 vertical panels on Signs Express' Mimaki JV3 wide format digital printer and individually contour cut around the image.

Signs Express has been working with Iron Mountain Europe to localise the messaging and adapt the designs in several European languages.

Commenting on the project, David T B Evans, Buyer at Iron Mountain UK Ltd said, "The launch of Iron Mountain's vehicle re-branding project enabled Signs Express to once again demonstrate its professionalism and project management skills to the full, resulting in the well delivered high resolution livery implementation for our new vehicles. Signs Express has been instrumental in helping with print considerations, graphics material and graphics shapes".

Signs Express (Glasgow) is a member of the British Sign & Graphics Association and part of the UK & Ireland’s largest sign company with over 80 centres.
