Heavenly Desserts eyes up international expansion and further sites in London

HD-international.jpg

Heavenly Desserts opened its 55th UK location earlier this year in Sutton Coldfield and has a goal of opening 100 restaurants by 2026, with new stores across Dundee, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Middlesborough and London's Elephant & Castle on the horizon. It was recently announced that Heavenly Desserts has partnered with a former Pizza Hut franchisee in a bid to boost its expansion plans across the capital city.

Franchisee, Shafiq Jivraj, assisted his family's franchise business in growing from one restaurant to 23 restaurants within 10 years and has previously been recognised as Pizza Hut Franchisee of the Year for four consecutive years. Shafiq will be aiding with new developments in North and West London.

Heavenly Desserts is currently working on its European expansion and is in positive conversations about entering the German market. It has already made strides in Canada with a second opening due to come to fruition within Q2-Q3 of 2024. The brand eyes up Karachi and Lahore sites in Pakistan and has had discussions about breaking into India too.

The brand’s co-founder Yousif Aslam said: "We’ve worked hard to perfect our premium dessert dining offering and we pride ourselves on guest experience that’s second to none, alongside the consistent innovation of our menu. Whether it’s an exciting new dessert concept, a seasonal discount, or our upcoming spring campaign, our team works incredibly hard to constantly breathe new life into our brand offering, and opening further stores within London will take us ever closer to our goal of launching 100 UK-wide restaurants."

Heavenly Desserts aims to bring a dining experience unlike any other and one of its key values is to be an innovator and trendsetter in the world of premium desserts, which is why the brand branched out into its first smaller-scale kiosk in Livingston in late 2023. Located within Livingston Designer Outlet’s Food Quarter, the ‘Pico’ restaurant format offers bespoke morning and afternoon menus, giving sugar-loving shoppers on-the-go treats at affordable prices.
