Dream Doors releases new customer journey video

Dream Doors has released a new video that outlines its customers’ journey, from making an initial enquiry, through the planning and installation phase, to finally enjoying their newly transformed kitchen. In just three-and-a-half minutes, it shows how the company can remove the stress and uncertainty that surround large home improvement projects. In fact, it is because of the simplicity and speed of a kitchen makeover – as well as Dream Doors’ renowned customer service and trusted local presence – that well over 100,000 projects have already been successfully completed nationwide.

Director of franchise recruitment, Alex Waite, who joined Dream Doors back in 2006 when the company had completed just a few thousand projects, said: “This is another fantastic tool to help potential new customers see the transparency with which Dream Doors operates, and the benefits of dealing with a locally-owned franchised business. Some people – particularly elderly homeowners – are worried about engaging with home improvement companies. They’re frightened of hard sell, unreliable tradespeople and having strangers in their homes. That is the polar opposite of how our franchisees treat customers, and hopefully this video conveys that well.”

He adds: “This production is part of a much larger learning and development project that we started last year. We’re investing tens-of-thousands into a series of videos that not only help customers in their decision-making process, but also offer training and coaching to all our franchisees and their staff. With almost 1,000 people earning a living through Dream Doors, it’s important we give them the support they need in their respective roles which, in turn, ensures we maintain our reputation for providing a premium service. Continued learning and development is the key to this.”

Established in 1999, Dream Doors has grown to become the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company and is now part of Neighbourly, the world’s largest parent company of homes services brands. It is also an Established member of the British Franchise Association. Dream Doors has almost 100 showrooms now open with just 20 new territories remaining and a handful of existing businesses for sale. The company holds a 9.7 out of ten rating on independent review website Checkatrade, based on over 24,000 reviews.
