Support strengthens at Rainbow International

Steve Bramley, Head of the Support department at Rainbow International, has recently been elected onto the main board at the British Franchise Association (bfa). Prior to being elected onto the board he was the Midlands Forum Chair for a year. This is great news for Rainbow International and their franchise network and shows that their franchisee support team is better and stronger than ever!

Bfa board members are elected from the franchise industry. Most of them are volunteers and give up their time in order to provide their expertise to support the bfa and help to raise the profile and opportunities for franchising in the UK. As a Qualified Franchise Professional, Steve was already the Regional Chairman on the Midlands Forum at the bfa and, due to his dedication and contribution on this panel, was elected onto the main board. The appointment was sanctioned by the bfa members, who are all franchisors. Steve will have specific responsibility on the Finance and General Purpose Committee to promote ethical franchising and to lobby the part that franchising plays in the economy to peer and pressure groups.

The bfa is the only self-regulating, voluntary accreditation body for franchising in the UK. Their remit is to develop and continuously improve the standards of good practice in franchising and to accredit franchisors who meet these standards. Rainbow International have been members of the bfa since 1999 and Steve’s involvement has spanned over 10 years. The team have first-hand insight into the bfa’s charter and can pass this on through the franchise system and into the network in order to improve the business for everyone.

Rainbow International is the UK’s leading franchise supplier of disaster recovery and specialist cleaning services and part of global franchising giant, The Dwyer Group. They provide fire, flood and escape of water and accidental damage restoration services to many of the UK’s leading insurance companies on behalf of their many policyholders. In addition, they provide a comprehensive range of specialist cleaning services to commercial, industrial and domestic premises, promoted by the franchisee in their designated territories.

“Being elected onto the bfa board is a great opportunity for me to continue helping the bfa with some of their great work and tireless efforts to promote the business and value of franchising across all of the stakeholder parties involved. I think the bfa provide so many benefits to members and I hope my contribution will help to further strengthen the role that franchising plays in the British economy,” explains Steve.
