Unprecedented double-whammy for Revive at franchise awards

Two franchises from cosmetic vehicle repair specialist Revive! have been shortlisted for the prestigious British Franchise Association HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards. It’s the only occasion this year a franchisor has had two nominees reach the final stages.

Owner of Revive! Bath, Matt Woodall (pictured below), is up for Young Franchisee of the Year. He established his business five years ago at the age of 21 soon after graduating from university. By 2012 he was ready to take on a second van and his first employee. His turnover has grown at an impressive rate year-on-year and is currently in the region of £10k pcm.

The Revive! Cambridge franchise is a finalist in the Outstanding Customer Service category. In seven years, owner Nathan Holmes (pictured above) has grown his business from ‘one man in a van’ to a five-vehicle fleet – including a specialist wheels van – operated by six technicians. Customer satisfaction is a central focus of the £400,000 turnover business. Holmes has developed robust systems that underpin good service and his team’s positive ethos ensures customers feel valued.

Mark Llewellyn, managing director of Revive!, says the pair are already regarded as high-calibre franchisees within the network.

Matthew Woodall Revive franchise“Nathan and Matt were recognised at our own awards earlier this year, and it’s wonderful to see our top-performers reach the final stages of this highly regarded national competition. On the surface the guys have very different business styles, but they simply bring the Revive! model to life in their own unique ways.

“Matt has created a vibrant social media presence that plays an important role in revenue-generation. Whereas Nathan has masterminded processes that ensure his growing business retains the personal feel that worked so well when he was a sole trader. I’m very proud of them – they are powerful role models both for our network and the franchise industry as a whole.”

Winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner hosted by Steph McGovern on 2 October 2014.

Revive! specialises in repairing minor scuffs and scrapes to vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels. As the preferred supplier of smart repairs to major car dealerships and fleet operators, Revive!’s customers include Alfa Romeo Fiat, Lex Autolease and Mercedes. The company works closely with the Institute of the Motor Industry to drive up smart repair standards and has paved the way for smart repair to become a top quality alternative to bodyshops for minor vehicle damage.
