How does our unique distribution system work?
Using a proven system, franchisees place greeting card ranges in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis, which means the stock and display equipment is installed on free loan to the retailer.
This is one step beyond ‘sale or return’ as Card Connection customers never have to buy the stock in the first place, only paying for what they sell. The award winning merchandising service our franchisees provide is second to none; we are proud of Card Connection’s excellent reputation within the convenience sector.
Due to the nature of convenience stores, trading throughout the day and often at night, Card Connection franchise owners can work flexible hours to suit themselves. Franchisees tend to visit their customers within their exclusive territory on a monthly basis to maintain or replenish stock.
What do I get for my investment?
When franchisees invest in our brand, we walk with them every step of the way. You would undertake a comprehensive training programme over several weeks, which covers every aspect of the business in both the classroom and, most importantly, in the field.
In addition to this training, you would be supported by a Regional Sales Manager on an on-going basis who will provide you with additional support and encouragement, as well as genuine business development within their territories.
As a franchisee within the Card Connection network you are encouraged to meet regularly with other franchise owners at our biannual regional meetings to share helpful experiences and best practice.
