Founder James Gould-Porter became bored of monotonous lunch choices whilst at work and spotted a gap in the market for a vibrant, fresh and healthy grab and go concept.
He started selling poké bowls across various street food markets in London and knew there was a customer demand for it. That’s what led to the opening of the first site in Kingly Street, Soho in 2016 and Island Poké was born
Now in full partnership with HERO Brands, Island Poké has 11 stores in some of the most prime locations in London
In Hawaiian, Poke means “to slice & dice”, this has allowed and encouraged us to deliver all day offers to our customers with that Fresh Pacific Flavour.
Our bowls are customisable and can be delivered in 1 minute or less, meaning they’re perfect travel customers, wanting flavour packed Nutritious food to enjoy. Our Bowls also travel well.
Island Poké operates in multiple formats from kiosk to dine-in, allowing us to select a wide range of footprints in prime locations with travel terminals.
Footprints can range from 20 – 140m2, ensuring we are flexible to tender opportunities. Limited Service, Mechanical and Extract requirements mean we have a wide range of real eatable options and short build times leading to rapid deployments and rollout.
