Little Voices franchisee recognised with Great British Franchisee Award
27-October-2026
Little Voices franchisee Ellena Morgan has been named a winner of the Great British Franchisee Awards 2026, recognising her success in transforming a struggling franchise into a thriving business, alongside her contribution to the local community and wider franchise network.
Organised by whichfranchise.com, the Great British Franchisee Awards recognise outstanding franchisees from across the UK, with entries open to franchisees operating in any industry.
Ellena, who runs Little Voices Fylde, took over the business in 2017 at just 22 years old. Since then, she has significantly increased pupil numbers and built a strong team, turning the business around and establishing it as a successful franchise.
Her achievements extend well beyond business growth. She has developed successful school partnerships, expanded opportunities for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), supported local charities and community events, championed mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and generously shared her experience with fellow franchisees.
Commenting on Ellena's achievement, the judges said: “What particularly impressed the judges was Ellena’s ability to combine an exceptional business turnaround with a genuine commitment to the children and families she serves.”
Ellena said: “I'm incredibly proud to win this award and bring this recognition back to the Little Voices network.
“I started my journey at a young age and didn't follow the conventional university route. I hope my story encourages other young people to consider franchising and realise there are different paths to building a successful business and a career you love.
“To have built a business doing something I'm so passionate about, and to see that recognised in this way, means so much to me.”
For Little Voices founder Jane James, the award has particular personal significance. Ellena previously worked as a tutor and as part of the Little Voices Head Office team before becoming a franchisee.
Jane said: “I couldn't be happier for Ellena! I've known her since she was a little girl attending my singing lessons, and I've watched her grow into an exceptional businesswoman and franchisee. She's a wonderful example of what being a Little Voices franchisee is all about.
“We don't do what we do to win awards, but it's lovely to see that commitment recognised. I'm incredibly proud of Ellena and everything she's achieved, and I know the whole Little Voices network shares that pride.”
Ellena has previously been recognised as Little Voices Franchisee of the Year and in 2022 won the Next Generation Franchisee category at the national BFA HSBC Franchise Awards.
