Exceptional stage school franchisee wins coveted Great British Franchisee Award

Jess Fairfield, Theatretrain franchisee for Royston, Welwyn-Hatfield and Biggleswade, has won a prestigious whichfranchise Great British Franchisee Award.  Jess leads three successful Theatretrain companies across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, supporting more than 320 students each week

The awards, now in their 5th year, celebrate business success and reflect the winners’ achievements in stability, growth, staff retention, customer satisfaction, community involvement, inspired leadership and their involvement in the franchise network.

Jess joined the Theatretrain network in 2013 and has grown from a single territory into a thriving multi-site business owner. Her most recent venture, Theatretrain Biggleswade, launched this year in partnership with one of her long-standing team members, is an inspiring example of how Jess nurtures talent and builds opportunities for others.             

The judges praised Jess for being a really successful and strong franchisee who is a credit to the Theatretrain franchise. Whilst having a performing arts background has given Jess great knowledge of the industry, she has worked hard to develop her skills for running a multi-business. She is true leader whose passion shines through.

Overall, Jess is more than a high-performing franchisee, she is a values-driven leader who raises the bar for everyone.

Jess commented, “It was such a lovely surprise to receive a Great British Franchisee award. It means the world to me to have such incredible feedback and recognition for my work. I love my job and I am very passionate about it! 

Having that recognised is just the most wonderful feeling, and I hope it will show everyone that we are more than just another performing arts school as we care for, and nurture, every student.  Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”
