Five-franchise Bobby wins major industry award for care achievements

13-January-2022

Bobby Pawar’s ever-expanding care empire has landed him a major industry honour in the Great British Franchise Awards 2022.

The owner of three Bluebird Care franchises in Maidstone and Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and Dartford and Gravesham, is opening two more in Folkestone and Dover, and Canterbury and Thanet.

“Bobby and his team are looked up to by our wider network of franchisees as beacons of professionalism and quality,” says Julie Farrow of Bluebird Care.

“They’re more than just home care providers. They are valued members of the communities they cover, arranging regular community events and encouraging customers, families and care workers to attend and socialise.

“Bobby’s ability to surround himself with experts in their field allows him to be strategic and analyse which direction the business should be headed in - a massive benefit as he’s able to work on the business, not in it.”

And award-winning Bobby is understandably proud of his achievements.

“We’ve been providing care to the local community since February 2010 and were operating a profit within one year of trading for each office,” he says.

“We’re excited about supporting our customers as we resume trips out in the community. We love taking them for afternoon tea and we very much look forward to hosting parties and events for them.”

Bobby’s determination to go the extra mile includes introducing a nail-cutting service and transporting customers free of charge to their Covid vaccination appointments.

“We also have regular contact with new franchise owners to offer them support, including the new owners of a franchise in the Midlands,” he adds.

The Great British Franchisee Awards recognise franchisees’ exceptional performance and business experience, ability to drive business growth, staff retention, customer satisfaction, community involvement, inspired leadership, and franchise involvement.

The awards are run by whichfranchise, supported by Lloyds Bank, BDO, AMO Consulting and Chantry Group.
