Caremark celebrates industry recognition with prestigious BFA award

Caremark, one of the UK’s leading home care providers, has been named as ‘Franchisor of the Year - Established’ by the British Franchise Association (BFA), reflecting Caremark’s ongoing success and dedication to excellence in home care services.
Caremark, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, scooped the award at the BFA Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony held in Telford on 6th November. It comes as the company enters an exciting new phase of growth, building on last year’s impressive 20% turnover increase and an industry-leading 0% network failure rate. Employing more than 6,500 care assistants, Caremark operates 150 franchises across the UK and Ireland, including four in Scotland—marking a major milestone in the company's expansion strategy.
"Winning the UK’s most coveted franchise award is a huge recognition of the hard work, dedication, and compassion that each and every one of us puts into the business every single day," said David Glover, CEO of Caremark. "Whether it is supporting our franchise owners in the field, leading teams, managing suppliers, or keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes, this success is shared by everyone at Caremark. With our dedicated Franchise Support Centre and growing network of franchise owners, we have worked hard to become an exceptional franchisor, so gaining industry recognition with this award confirms that together, we have built something truly special."
At the heart of Caremark’s growth is its unwavering commitment to supporting and developing its franchisees. From the initial engagement through to ongoing training, Caremark ensures that its franchise owners are equipped with the skills and resources they need to thrive. Franchisees benefit from comprehensive training in key areas, including recruitment, HR, team culture, compliance, financial management, and business growth. Additionally, the company’s innovative National Marketing Fund continues to deliver thousands of leads to its UK network, supporting sustained business development.
Caremark’s growth strategy focuses on making incremental improvements that lead to transformational results. This approach was highlighted at the company’s 2025 National Conference earlier this year, where Caremark reported a 20% year-on-year increase in turnover for 2024, reaching £151 million, alongside improved customer retention and record-breaking care enquiry numbers.
