Leading global fitness franchise Snap Fitness 24/7 has announced their next five gyms confirmed to open across November and December, with a further 6 in the process of being finalised.

Jon Cottam, CEO Snap Fitness 24/7 EMEA said “These latest confirmed openings are just the start of our accelerated expansion plans for the UK and Ireland regions. We have a proven model across our 1,000 gyms open globally and our 81 here.

All our new club openings since July last year have achieved in excess of 1,200 members within the first 6 to 12 months – delivering a strong ROI for our franchisees. The commercial success of these openings and their own clubs has seen many of our existing franchisees extended their portfolio along with new franchisees. We’re on track to have over 100 by Q1 2023 and have big ambitions to grow even further.

The new Snap Fitness gyms will open in Devises, Martlesham Health, Retford, Tyldesley and Westwood Cross, and will provide a premium gym experience, that is welcoming to everybody, at a slightly higher, but affordable, consumer price point than the lower end of the market.

Over the last year, Snap Fitness’ consumer strategy has been focused on offering the most open, inclusive, empathetic, supportive fitness experience to every member at every level, based on a philosophy that’s all about the feeling.

The new club’s design will reflect Snap Fitness’ refreshed brand proposition which launched in July 2021, ensure they are welcoming and mood lifting environments focused on building a supportive community. This new approach has also been reflected in their marketing, member experiences and tech enhancement, seeing the estate achieve +6% growth in average member numbers post Covid.
