The TaxAssist Accountants’ global success story continues as two new franchisees, Luisa Nunez and Asma Ali launch the brand in New Jersey and Texas.

TaxAssist Accountants has signed up its first and second franchisees, after successfully launching its business model in the USA.

Luisa Nunez will become a franchisee in the Hackensack area of New Jersey, with Asma Ali operating from Houston in Texas. Asma will also be an Area Representative for Southern Texas, with plans to take two further territories in Austin and San Antonio.

For David Paulson, Senior Vice President, Franchise Development, signing two new franchisees marks the start of ambitious plans for expansion across the USA.

“We’ve had a fantastic response since announcing our plans to launch in the USA and I’ve been incredibly busy talking to serious prospects and hosting discovery days to explain more about our model,” said David.

“In Luisa and Asma, we have two first class individuals with extensive accounting experience, who understand the franchise model and the potential for growth, and we are looking forward to working closely with them as they build their practices.

“Both have now started their six-week Initial Training Course and are in the process of identifying storefronts in their territories.

“With interest growing, we anticipate further franchisee and Area Representative sign-ups in the months ahead.”

On her decision to join TaxAssist Accountants, Luisa said: “I have successfully run my own practice for a number of years. However, I was attracted by the additional guidance and backup provided by a national brand and team of marketing and technical experts which will enable me to grow a much larger practice. I am excited by what the future holds and look forward to launching my shop later in the year.”

Asma is an accountant with 10 years’ experience behind her and stated: “I was really pleased to have discovered the TaxAssist Accountants opportunity because I have been keen to establish my own practice for some time, and this ticks all the boxes.

“I was looking for additional support to run a year-round accounting practice and was attracted by the storefront concept, branding, marketing and technical support and expertise available to me. The model also allows for scaling up, and my plan is to develop further territories in the short term.”

The TaxAssist Accountants franchise and Area Representative opportunities in the USA will appeal to experienced accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with a strong financial services or banking background, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
