Award-winning professional domestic housekeeping franchise business, Bright & Beautiful®, is celebrating a milestone 10 years in franchising, growing its national network to over 65 business owners, creating a workforce of 850+ local people and on track to achieve a milestone £10 million network revenue in 2020.

Part of Neighbourly®, the world’s largest franchisor of home service brands, Bright & Beautiful was established in 2007 and set up its first pilot franchise in 2010 in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.  With strong visual branding, clear brand pillars and being a values-based business, the UK wide business has since gone from strength to strength.

Bright & Beautiful is welcoming new franchise owners from a diverse range of professional backgrounds, each building their own local enterprises with the support and training offered by the franchisor.

In ten years, the fully managed service-based franchise, which provides eco-friendly cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing with the highest standard of service and security, will deliver more than 150,000 home service and one off cleans every year to over 4,000 clients.  Further growth is planned for 2020, including a strong focus on creating additional professional housekeeping roles to bring the workforce to over 1,000 and granting new territory licences for the remaining territories.

Bright & Beautiful’s heritage has shaped the core values of its business and these are based on four brand pillars - holistic housekeeping, strict security, trusted team and pure products, which have created a successful company culture that is embodied across the whole network.

Ethical employment is also a vital part of the business with staff offered training, holiday pay and full employment rights.  Equally important is being sustainable and a commitment to the environment by reducing plastic usage by around 1.5 tonnes per year with the use of eco-friendly cleaning products.

Sue Moore, Managing Director of Bright & Beautiful, said: “We’re proud of achieving so many ambitious goals over the past 10 years and will be marking our anniversary with a series of celebrations throughout the year – we kick started with a party last week.  Our franchisees will also be commemorating their own milestones throughout 2020, along with raising funds for some fantastic local and national charitable causes, such as Dementia UK.

“Our franchisee network is continually growing, with many coming from a wide range of backgrounds with diverse skills, including ex-police force, retail, education, marketing and HR.  Not only have they provided hundreds of jobs across the UK, but they have been able to offer progressive career opportunities for their professional housekeepers including promotions to customer service and senior operational roles.   These are jobs that are not only helping people into work and serving our local communities, but they are also contributing significantly to our regional and national economy.

“This next decade is going to be even brighter for Bright & Beautiful where we’ll achieve even greater milestones. In the meantime, we’re focussed on helping our busy clients to carve out some valuable free time whilst letting us take care of housekeeping chores”.

Bright & Beautiful is one of the home service brands for Neighbourly and was acquired in 2017.  The brand’s support team operate from the Head Office in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
