Card Connection Celebrates Chairman's Award and Franchisee 25th Anniversary
Card Connection, the leading franchised Greeting Card publisher in the UK and Ireland, presented two special awards at their recent conference.
Kevin Vaux, retiring Chairman of Card Connection presented the inaugural Chairman’s Award to Hanish Patel for his outstanding contribution to Card Connection as well as a special 25th Anniversary Award to recognise Martin Rolfe who has been a Card Connection franchisee for 25 years!
Hanish Patel, franchisee for North and West London, was presented the Chairman’s Award for his outstanding service and achievements to date. Hanish, who joined Card Connection in 2014, achieved 20% growth in his franchised business in the first year. He has grown his retail customers from around 200 accounts to nearly 500 today.
Michael Johnson, Managing Director at Card Connection commented: “Congratulations to Hanish, this achievement has been down to his first class merchandising service to all his retail customers ensuring that every store has the correct style of cards to fit their customer profile. His dedicated service increased his market share significantly in his competitive region.” Johnson continued: “Hanish’s success has proved to us that the key to every success is determination, motivation and willingness to make a difference!”
Martin Rolfe, franchisee for the Norwich area, claimed a very special 25th Anniversary honour during the Gala Dinner award ceremony, celebrating his extraordinary career with the renowned franchise. Johnson explained: “Card Connection was established 26 years ago and Martin joined during our first year! We thank Martin for his devoted service as a Card Connection franchisee for the past 25 years and we look forward to his next 25 years with us!”
