Caremark's National Training Manager wins top international social care award

Lynda Goldsmith, National Training Manager with home care franchisor Caremark Ltd was recognised as 2014’s Most Outstanding Healthcare Executive in the UK for her contribution to training, learning and education of home care workers.

 

Award winners from Asia, Canada, America and the UK gathered in London at the UK Over 50s Housing Awards to celebrate innovation and best practice across the sector incorporating the training of care staff on the ground.

This is the second major award that Ms Goldsmith has scooped within the last 2 months for her work in training and development of home care staff within the domiciliary care industry.

Receiving her award from Esmonde Crawley, international speaker for the UK Over 50s Housing Awards, Ms Goldsmith said: “ I am really delighted to receive such an important award which gives the recognition to Caremark for our outstanding training, learning and service delivery”.

Based in Sussex, Caremark Limited has a UK network of award winning franchisees delivering bespoke care and support services to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live safe, independent lives. Providing companionship and community access also gives vulnerable people the opportunity to continue with social activities and maintain hobbies and leisure activities.
Ms Goldsmith concluded: “My inspiration comes from all our wonderful care workers who provide such fantastic care and support to older and vulnerable people”.
