YOUNG BUSINESS READY TO DOUBLE IN SIZE!

Two local entrepreneurs have expanded their business so quickly in their first two years that they are now opening a second outlet.

Mike Hudson, and business partner Ian Calveley, opened their first Cartridge World franchise in November 2005 on Pickford Lane in Bexleyheath.  They are now celebrating the launch of a second store on Colney Road in Dartford.  Mike and Ian decided to expand their business into Dartford to target a wider range of business customers.

Cartridge World is the only business in the area which refills used printer and toner cartridges.  It can refill almost any inkjet or toner cartridge, matching the manufacturer’s original product to ensure consistent quality of print while making substantial savings on the cost of a new product.  By reusing or recycling empty cartridges, it can also help businesses reduce their carbon footprint, improving their ‘green’ credentials with their customers.

Mike said: “We’ve watched the business grow steadily since its launch, and the time is right to expand, giving more consumers and businesses an alternative to throwing out their empty cartridges.

“We believe that the combination of the quality service we provide and the prices we are able to offer have made Cartridge World such a quick success.  We’re looking forward to continued growth and to providing the highest quality service to businesses in the Dartford area.”

Cartridge World in Bexleyheath is also working with a number of local schools to promote recycling of cartridges.  It makes a donation to the schools in exchange for cartridge collections.  The new Dartford store is also looking to establish similar schemes with local schools.
