Scottish franchise awareness seminars

If you are serious about franchising, then attending a franchise seminar is a must!

For the majority of us, starting a franchise, or any business, means a high investment of time and money. There is therefore no room for getting it wrong, and so to limit the risks and increase the chances of success, it is vital that thorough research into franchising is undertaken. You need to be 100% certain that franchising, and the franchise you are interested in, is for you. But with so much to choose from, where do you start?

Why attend?

whichfranchise has been running franchise awareness seminars for over 7 years and so our knowledge of franchising and the Scottish franchise market is second to none.

Our seminars are delivered by affiliates of the British Franchise Association (bfa); presenters include bankers and lawyers, as well franchisors and franchisees. These experts will share their knowledge and experience of franchising, and will guide you through the steps involved in buying a franchise in Scotland.

Through our seminars alone we have helped hundred of potential franchisees, and franchisors, start up their franchise business in Scotland.

As well as generating new franchise businesses and jobs in Scotland, attendees leave our seminars knowing one way or the other if franchising is for them, and what their next step is...you could too.

Not a sales pitch!

Franchising isnt for everyone and so our seminars are not geared towards telling you that it is! We are not selling franchises or even the concept of franchising but instead provide you with an unbiased overview of franchising in Scotland. By covering all aspects of buying a franchise, we are equipping you with the knowledge to make up your own mind as to whether franchising is for you.

Who should attend?

Our franchise awareness seminars are ideal for anyone considering franchising; no matter what stage of the decision making process they are at.

They are also ideal for anyone looking to franchise an existing business as it allows you to gain inside knowledge from the perspective of the franchisee i.e. you will identify what franchisees expect from a good, ethical franchisor and what you should be providing.

Why do we know our seminars work?

In the past 7 years, hundreds of potential franchisees and franchisors have attended our seminars; many going on to start their own franchise business. If you are still swaying with the idea of attending, then reading testimonies for some of our past attendees should help you make up your mind.

"I think whichfranchise is fantastic for prospective franchisees looking to source information. You can find the answer to almost any question about franchising and also read case studies which gives an insight into what it's really like to be a franchisee. There is also great information about up and coming workshops. Everyone at whichfranchise.com is extremely friendly and helpful, and I would recommend anyone looking to get into franchising to attend a workshop.”

Lisa Tobias, Dominos Pizza franchisee, Kilmarnock, Ayr, Glasgow & Clydebank

"We found the whichfranchise seminar to be absolutely brilliant and definitely well worth attending. Both my husband and I were looking for independent, impartial and honest advice, and this was certainly in abundance. The whole day was structured well with talks from franchisors, franchisees, legal and financial experts, with the extremely knowledgeable and entertaining Johnny ensuring that the seminar ran smoothly. From thinking about buying a franchise, we have now decided to take that 'big' step, confident that our research into franchising, which included attendance on this seminar, has been sufficiently thorough and positive. Not only has the whichfranchise team put together a day that is a must for anyone seriously thinking about going into franchising, but their help and advice afterwards have been invaluable. I foresee our relationship with the team continuing for some time yet! Many thanks.”
