Creation Station franchise owner wins major contracts

Amrit Bedi, franchisee for the leading children’s activity franchise, The Creation Station, has won three major contracts to supply children’s creative activities in the Glasgow area.  Amrit Bedi will be inspiring families to ‘get creative’ at the Scottish Baby and Toddler show between 29 April-1 May at the SEC, where 40,000 people are expected to attend.  In addition, Amrit has secured regular slots to provide sessions as part of the regular Sunday kids’ club at the Braehed Shopping Centre and separately at Scotland’s Theme Park, M&D’s, throughout the summer.

“I have been running regular, weekly creative activities for pre-school children for about a year now,” explains Amrit Bedi, franchisee for The Creation Station.  “However, I am really excited to be growing my business and delighted to have been selected to organise the children’s free arts and crafts drop-in at the Scottish Baby and Toddler show.  I am planning a ‘Royal Wedding’ theme which is sure to be great fun!  The Braehed Shopping Centre’s bi-monthly Kids’ club, will be springing into action by creating giant butterflies and Easter art work.  For M&Ds a full range of activities is planned under the big circus tent between May and September.”

Prior to joining The Creation Station, Amrit Bedi was a Maths teacher.  She says:  “I always used to get that Sunday night feeling before the working week.  Now, I am a mum of three, I am lucky to enjoy running my part-time business which fits perfectly around my family.  Sometimes my children even come along to my regular activity classes too, which they love!
“To help me build my business further, it would be great to work alongside another local franchisee, in the Edinburgh area for example,” continues Amrit.  “I know The Creation Station is looking for other mums to award a licence too in this region soon and so there could be an exciting opportunity to work with a like minded mum in the future.”

The Creation Station is a family-friendly, franchise on a mission to inspire children’s imaginations providing part-time franchise opportunities for those who want to achieve a flexible and rewarding work life balance, delivering The Creation Station experience through Art and Craft Classes, Birthday Party and Event Entertainment.  The Creation Station works with over 30 mums across the UK.

Amrit is involved in The Creation Station’s discovery morning on the 9 May in Glasgow, where she will be talking to local mums about her success and the opportunities available for other mums.
