Signarama celebrates record performance

Heading into Q4 with exceptional performances under their belt, Siganrama franchisees in Birmingham South, Reading, Harrogate and Preston all reported record-breaking figures in Q3 of 2017.

“Network sales are up year-on-year with some outstanding performances across the board ranging from impressive 25% uplifts to staggering 76% turnover increases. It’s a testament to the continued passion and drive from each and every one of our franchisees,” says Adrian Strong, Franchise Support Manager.

“There’s no question that being part of such a well-known Global brand can open certain doors for you. Often the impression of size and national reach is very instrumental in larger clients trusting you with important and high value projects. We have some large construction companies as customers and being based in Birmingham we are particularly delighted to produce a lot of work for Land Rover,” explains Tracy Andrews, franchisee for Birmingham South.

In what for many, is a challenging economic climate, the signage industry continues to grow and expand. “It stands to reason really,” says Annetta Doyle, Franchise Recruitment Manager, “signs literally are everywhere.”

“In a growing economy, more businesses launch, expand or relocate and so the demand for signage and associated services increases. In a challenging climate, businesses must do more to attract custom, be more visible and stand out from the crowd and so, you guessed it; demand increases!”

With the launch of the new Light model earlier this year, Signarama created an exciting concept that allows new franchisees a more affordable entry point to the industry. A low fuss, low overhead opportunity, the Light showrooms are fitted out exactly like other Signarama centres, but without the production equipment. The footprint is smaller and therefore attract lower rent and business rates. Because production is outsourced to top quality suppliers, franchisees get to concentrate on driving sales and delivering service.

“We wanted to open the opportunity up to a much wider audience,” explained Aliyyah-Begum Nasser, Signarama’s UK Managing Director. “The Light franchise package is the ideal way for ambitious franchisees to dip a toe into the lucrative sign market and it gives them the option to upgrade to a full production franchise as their business grows.”

Founded in 1986, Signarama is the largest signs and graphics franchises in the world, and those investing in the Light model enjoy all the benefits that go along with it. World-class training and support, enviable collective buying power, instant brand recognition and an R&D department that’s focussed on bringing the latest technology and software innovations to the market.

“I honestly think that with the right attitude and work ethic, the training and support from Signarama could see anyone become successful without any industry experience or having run their own business before. That’s the beauty of franchising isn’t it!” says Tracy.
