Inspirational Woman in Franchising of the Year 2017

We are delighted to announce that Fiona Williams, Bluebird Care’s director of operations has been shortlisted as one of three finalists for the Inspirational Women in Franchising of the Year Award at the NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) Awards 2017.

In its 7th year, the awards culminate in an annual ceremony bringing together women in franchising and celebrating their achievements. This year’s event takes place in London at the NatWest Auditorium.

The EWIF award recognises the most inspirational females involved in franchising. This category was open to franchisors, franchisees, service providers and employees of these groups.

Fiona has taken on a number of roles to help inspire women. Including becoming a coach and mentor to women in business, and a Non-Executive Director of the United Kingdom Homecare Association. Fiona has contributed to a number of key projects within the care sector including NHS England’s Better Use of Care at Home work stream, she is a champion for compliance with national and living wage, and has written articles for The Guardian and The Telegraph to name a few.

Fiona commented:

“I am honoured to be selected as one of the three finalists. It’s a privilege to be part of the celebration and recognition of the great achievements of women in the franchising industry.”

The EWIF Awards Ceremony takes place on Tuesday 16th May at NatWest’s offices in London.
