Card Connection's Franchisee of the Year is force of nature!

Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection has named its Franchisee of the Year as Robin Brisbourne. Robin who joined Card Connection four and half years ago runs the North Wales territory and was described by his regional sales manager, John Coe, as a ‘force of nature’!

John Coe, regional sales manager, Card Connection confirms: “Year after year Robin finds new avenues to grow sales and no matter what the events, we always reflect on Robin’s positive numbers and supportive attitude at our reviews together. This year, Robin’s efforts to open new retail accounts really paid off. Robin’s retail servicing is top notch and product handling superb this award win is fully merited

“The overall Card Connection Franchisee of the Year award is judged on a variety of criteria,” explains Coe. “We use a scoring system and award points for sales, growth, business attitude and aptitude and how franchisees perform as ‘ambassadors’ for Card Connection. Six regional winners were selected and now, we are delighted to recognise Robin’s dedication and enthusiasm as well as his sales success as the overall winner from our network of 64 franchisees nationwide.”

Robin Brisbourne comments: “I didn’t see that coming! I am thrilled and want to thank all at Card Connection including fellow franchisees Dave and Di Tudor who originally introduced me to the company, without them I wouldn’t be here at all. Roll on 2017!”

Also highly commended, was Nottingham franchisee, Daryl Perkins, who’s tenacity and team spirit was celebrated with the Heidi Sulley Commemorative Cup. Previous Card Connection Franchisee of the Year winner, Daryl, was nominated for: genuinely going the extra mile in all areas and was recognised for his ongoing achievements and determination to succeed.

Market leader in the UK for the franchised distribution of greeting cards, established in 1992 and a full member of the BFA since 1995, Card Connection and its network of franchisees distribute quality cards and accessories to around 13,000 retail outlets across the UK. Card

Since the franchise network in the UK is complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £12,500 + Stock + Card Connection fee with earnings potential in excess of £50k per annum.

Territories currently available include: Fife, Edinburgh/Scottish Borders, Stirling, Brighton, Plymouth, Bath, Northampton, Liverpool, Macclesfield, South West Region Ireland.
