Franchise finance hosted event at iconic Gherkin building in London

Franchise Finance, the leading broker in the franchise sector, hosted a breakfast event last week at the iconic Gherkin building in London to discuss the impact of the UK’s economic growth and the latest Budget announcement on the industry.

Hosted in association with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, guests including franchisors London House, Mail Boxes Etc and Auditel heard from Professor Trevor Williams, Chief Economist at Lloyds Bank. Professor Williams spoke about the country’s growing economic prospects, both global and domestic, whilst encouraging franchise businesses to plan for long-term success and act sensibly when investing in new operations.

Richard Holden, Head of Franchising at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, said: “Following the Budget announcement this was a timely session that provided our audience of franchisors with an in-depth overview of the country’s current economic position and prospects for the next five years.

“The Franchise Finance team organised a fantastic event at a prestigious location, and we look forward to supporting future industry events.”

Chris Roberts, Business Development Director at Franchise Finance, said: “Professor Williams provided us with an interesting and entertaining review of the UK economy, and an understanding of how current trends are likely to effect the franchise market. We’d like to thank the bank for their support at this event, and look forward to welcoming guests to future events.”
