Belvoir goes for gold as Franchisor of the Year at Negotiator Awards 2014
Franchise owners and staff at Belvoir are celebrating yet another superb industry award win in 2014 – this time scooping Franchisor of the Year at the prestigious Negotiator Awards in London.
Dorian Gonsalves, Belvoir’s Director of Commercial and Franchising, was invited on stage at the London Hilton on 4th November to accept the Gold Award for Franchisor of the Year from comedian and TV quiz show host Alexander Armstrong.
“The Negotiator Awards are widely recognised as the Oscars of the property awards industry, celebrating the best and highest achievers in the residential property market. According to the organisers the entry list for 2014 was the biggest in the history of the event and competition was keener than ever,” said Dorian.
“It was therefore an amazing achievement for Belvoir to be shortlisted in five categories. Last year Belvoir won the Silver Award for Franchisor of the Year and it is fantastic to go one better in 2014 and win Gold.
“I strongly believe that Belvoir is one of the most responsible, ethical and well positioned franchised businesses in the industry, with a 19-year track record to prove it. We provide franchise owners with a massive business opportunity and immense capacity for success, so I believe the group is highly deserving of the title of Franchisor of the Year. We are also very proud that Belvoir’s website once again picked up a top award – this time Silver for Website of the Year.
“In addition I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to Emma Falco, general manager at Belvoir Peterborough and Belvoir Cambridge, who has worked for business owner Terry Lucking for six years. Emma won the Silver Award for Rising Star of the Year, a category that was introduced to identify an individual with the potential to become an industry leader. At just 26 years of age, Emma is a dedicated, focused and professional businesswoman who is committed to delivering the highest standards and continually seeks to improve her knowledge and skills.
“Ben and Daisy Davies, owners of Belvoir Swansea were awarded Silver for Wales Agency of the Year, and this is testament to the success of their business and the consistently high levels of customer service that they provide. Finally, Sue and John Warburton of Belvoir Leamington Spa did extremely well to be shortlisted for Midlands Agency of the Year.
“To be shortlisted from a record number of high-quality entries is testament to all the hard work, initiative and determination that Belvoir’s franchise owners and staff demonstrate on a daily basis. I also believe that their success can be attributed to the outstanding support that is provided to them by the team at Belvoir’s Central Office.
“Earlier this year Belvoir won the Gold Award for Lettings Franchise of the Year at the Lettings Agency of the Year Awards for a record fourth time.
