Caremark (Barnsley) join local community providers for disability information day

Last month, Barnsley home care provider attended a Special Educational Needs & Disability day held at the local football club providing advice and information to visitors on the services they offer for adults and children with disabilities. This was an open invitation to all parents and carers of children and young people with disabilities and additional needs.

Caremark (Barnsley) joined other community services and multi-discipline providers in this annual ‘drop in’ event, bringing together many different sources of help and information for service users and their carers and families.

As well as providing care and support to people with disabilities, Caremark (Barnsley) also deliver their services to people of all ages and abilities who wish to remain living independently and safely at home. More complex care is provided through the company’s 24 hour live-in service, Habito.
Stall holders were there to welcome visitors throughout the day into the evening. A busy and well attended day meant that Caremark (Barnsley) were able to speak to a steady stream of people enquiring about their care and support services.

A member of the Caremark (Barnsley) care team, Jacquie Taylor, made delicious and specially branded cakes which proved very popular with visitors.

The day was well attended with visitors able to get a good picture of the care and support available to them from various sources in their community.
