TaxAssist franchise wins international award for innovation

Small business tax and accountancy specialist TaxAssist Accountants has been named Most Innovative Tax Team of the Year in global awards celebrating excellence across the industry.

The national network, which has recently launched in Canada and plans further expansion in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand, picked up the honour in Acquisition International Magazine’s 2014 International Tax Awards scheme, sponsored by taxation recruitment specialists Brewer Morris.

“These awards are based on nominations from our clients as well as the industry, which is a great testimony to our business model and the hard work of all our franchisees,” said David Paulson, Senior Manager for Franchise Recruitment with TaxAssist Accountants.

The latest award follows TaxAssist Accountants being named Best Training and Support provider and achieving 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction recognition, in a national benchmarking survey by franchise specialist consultancy Smith and Henderson.

With a fee bank of over £30 million and almost 200 franchisees across the UK, TaxAssist Accountants recorded more than 12% growth in the latest Accountancy Age Top 50 listings, beating the “Big 4” international groups.
