Home Instead co-founders are 'Entrepreneur of the Year' finalists

Sam & Trevor Brocklebank, co-founders of franchise company Home Instead Senior Care are finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year category of the prestigious 2014 Laing & Buisson Independent Specialist Care Awards. These national awards showcase the very best in care services.

This award is given to the individual/s who have demonstrated the most impressive business skills in either creating new services for adults with social care needs or building a platform to make a high quality offering more widely available.

The franchise company which specialises in providing non-medical care to older people so they can remain living in their own homes had a stellar year in 2013. Winning the bfa Gold Franchisor of the Year, the Smith & Henderson Overall Best Franchise and also achieving 5 star franchisee satisfaction from their franchisees in a new benchmarking programme.

Trevor Brocklebank, CEO of Home Instead Senior Care commented, “It is such a privilege to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award. We set up the business in 2006 and in 2013 we were revealed as the no. 1 home care provider for older people and now have over 150 local franchise offices across the UK.”

The winner will be announced at a Gala Dinner which will be held on 12 March 2014, hosted by Rt. Hon Michael Portillo at the London Lancaster Hotel, W2.
