etyres wins prestigious franchise award
etyres are delighted to announce that they scooped the Bronze accolade in the UK franchise industry’s most prestigious award ceremony.
The result was announced at the 2011 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award last and franchisor Tony Bowman was delighted to receive the honour on behalf of everyone at the company.
He said: “Building an innovative, efficient and sustainable business has helped us to attract and retain some fantastic franchise owners, which has been the key to our growing success as a franchisor.
Receiving this award is wonderful recognition of this, as well as a fantastic morale boost for our whole team.”
Tony took his two grand-daughters Harriet and Fiona, who are both valuable members of the head office sales team and have been working for the company for two and three years respectively, to the award ceremony.
Tony said: “Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do and we have a branch network of franchise owners who consistently deliver great customer service.
As the franchisor we are very proud of this award but without our franchise owners contribution we would not be where we are today.”
The awards, supported by Express Newspapers, celebrate the achievements of the UK’s most entrepreneurial and ethical franchises.
The Gold Award went to McDonald’s and care provider Home Instead Senior Care was awarded Silver.
Brian Smart, director general of the bfa, commented on the winners: “This has been another inspirational year for franchising. Each year the awards unearth fantastic success stories and demonstrations of ethical franchising at work.
“Our judging panel was presented with some of the best examples of innovation, brand development and franchisee support that they have ever seen and it has been a privilege to recognise these truly outstanding franchisors. Each of our winners is a credit to the sector.”
