I regularly get asked what the key benefits of buying a franchise over starting a business from scratch are. I have listed below just some of the key benefits of buying a franchise:

• A tried and tested methodology for you to follow

• A known brand rather than one which has no track record
• The advice guidance and support of the Franchisor acting as a management consultant to the business
• Greater chance of obtaining bank finance

However, do be aware that not all franchises are equal. Make sure that you research the opportunity and the Franchisor thoroughly before making a commitment and parting with money.
