Derrick was the founder of Franchise Resales Limited which provides a structured, detailed and independent process (from exit planning to completion) for franchisees wishing to sell their businesses, for purchasers wishing to acquire a business and franchisors seeking their own exit route. He has played an active role within UK franchising since 1988 including being director of franchise development with Kall Kwik & Prontaprint (ODC) and franchise director with the Myhome Group. Establishing Franchise Resales Limited in 2007 Derrick has played a prominent role within the British Franchise Association for which he was appointed a Companion of the bfa and though now retired is a member of the expert panel of assessors for the QFP qualification.
