Palm Coast is getting a Richard’s Foodporium
Richard’s Foodporium announces the signing of its third franchise. The store is slated to open in Palm Coast, FL early this fall.
Richards’ is known for its affordable natural and specialty foods and a nostalgic, intimate shopping experience. Area shoppers will have access to a wide variety of natural foods, vitamins and nutritional supplements and a large selection of bulk foods right in the heart of Palm Coast.
When Ken and Kathy Nichols signed on with Richard’s, it was an important growth move for both parties. Stepping into the world of retail was the next logical move for the Nichols, successful small business owners in the community for over 30 years. As longtime residents, they wanted to serve the local community as they expand their horizons.
The deal also signals a milestone for Richard’s. The Palm Coast store will be the first on the east coast for the fast growing Sarasota---based chain. High levels of interest have prompted Richards’ expansion plans to include additional Florida territories sooner than expected. John Rorer, Richard’s proprietor, said, “The Nichols’ passion for service and conscientious attitude makes them a model to showcase the Richard’s brand. We are very pleased to welcome the Nichols to the family.”
Ken Nichols added, “We’d been looking for an opportunity to bring real benefit to the community and Richard’s provides the perfect opportunity to do just that. We picked Richard’s because of their rack record and support. We’ll be able to hit the ground running and start helping people shop healthier. We can’t wait to get the doors open.”
The store is slated to open in mid September in the Palm Harbor Shopping Center just east of I---95on the Palm Coast Parkway.
